DJ Delight
At 16, Delight got a job at a Record Store he frequented in Grand Rapids Michigan, drawing bubble letters and learning to breakdance with with the his “Day1”, the clerk. Sandwiched between a pizza parlor and a Barbershop, this place was a hub for an ever expanding Network of DJ professors in every music genre. “Beatnics” Records, Tapes, CD’s and accessories, ran by a group of the most talented DJ’s a young hip hop enthusiast could hope to become acquainted with. This rambunctious lot would eventually become his teachers in turntablism as well as witty insults. DJ Delight moved to Asheville in 2016 to share his unique “spin” with the music scene. From lounges to dance parties DJ Delight is the perfect choice for any social event.
